Our logistics partners are often medium-sized family companies, just like us. They are of the same mind as us and offer the same level of service and quality. They specialise in specific services, regions or modalities. They transport and distribute your shipments under our direction. We are responsible for all management-related activities, our partners ensure that shipments are transported and you benefit from the convenience of one designated contact.
Our systems are linked to our partners’ systems, so that you can track your shipments via our track & trace system. All agreements made about delivery times, working methods and communication are set out in partnership agreements. The Quality Department ensures we deliver on the agreements made.
The DistriXL partnership is made up of eight distributors. We use each other’s strong regional positions to offer you national coverage. Bas unit Hereijgers Benelux Transport BV has been the regional specialist for Zeeland and West-Brabant since 2015. We exchange groupage shipments ranging in size from two boxes to two pallets with the other partners at fixed depots in Rotterdam, Alkmaar, Nieuwleusen, Hoogeveen, Oss, Gorinchem and Veldhoven five nights a week. We then deliver each other’s shipments in our own regions the next day.
BAS unit Hereijgers Transport Benelux BV has been working with Mert Logistics, our Belgian partner, since 2020. Customers can rely on us for delivery reliability, open communication and a high degree of digitalisation. Hereijgers and Mert exchange freight every night, after which Mert distributes our shipments in Luxembourg, South Belgium and the Belgian Ardennes (postcode areas 4700-4990, 5500-5680 and 6400-6997) and we distribute all its shipments in the Netherlands.
Since 2016, we have been a dedicated partner of One Express, an Italian distribution network made up of 120 regional distribution specialists. From the Benelux, we deliver shipments of up to three pallets to the One Express hub in Mesero (Milan) every day and return with deliveries destined for the Benelux. Our Italian partners distribute our shipments throughout Italy. Besides Milan, One Express has hubs in Bologna, Rome and Naples.
National distribution has been an important area of activity for our French logistics partner Dimotrans for more than 40 years now. BAS Logistics BV operates a daily scheduled service to the Dimotrans hub in Goussainville (Paris). Dimotrans distribution drivers deliver shipments consisting of a maximum of three pallets to all of the French regions, except Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Picardie, Ile-de-France and Rhone-Alpes – we drive to these destinations ourselves.
Under our direction, our Spanish transport partners transport your shipments as return freight from the Netherlands to Spain on a daily basis. They deliver these shipments, which usually consist of one to two pallets, to Unireco, our Spanish distribution partner, which has its hub in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda (Barcelona). Unireco has a national distribution network and delivers your shipments to addresses on the Spanish mainland, the Balearics and the Canary Islands.
We pass on your shipments to our Portuguese transport partners (that have just unloaded their freight in the Benelux) on a daily basis. In Portugal, we work closely with the distribution specialist Transduo. We manage transports to Portugal, to the Transduo hub in Recarei (Porto). From there, Transduo distributes shipments consisting of one to two pallets to addresses throughout Portugal and Madeira. This partnership has been generating happy customers for more than 30 years now.
Our DistriXL-partner Raben Group, which is based in Oss (the Netherlands), is our distribution partner in the Benelux; it distributes all of our (small) shipments in neighbouring Germany every day too. A number of scheduled services leave the Netherlands on a daily basis. The national transport network set up and launched by the Raben Group in 2020 consists of 32 branches and 46 network locations. Our shipments are distributed in Germany from these hubs.
In the United Kingdom, we have access to the national distribution network of Berser Network Logistics BV, our DistriXL partner. Every day, a scheduled service for groupage shipments leaves the Netherlands for Berser International Cargo Services Ltd. in Stoke-on-Trent. From there, Berser uses the European Palletways network to distribute our (pallet) shipments to every destination in the United Kingdom and Ireland every day.
We have excellent access to Scandinavia via our DistriXL-partner Westerman International. It provides rail and road transport under our direction. A daily scheduled service runs to Malmö in Sweden and a daily train service leaves from the German town of Kaldenkirchen (Venlo) to Malmö and Eskilstuna every day too. Westerman takes care of day-to-day distribution in Norway, Sweden and Finland via a local network.
